Giving Tree Campaign Recap

Fidelity House CRC recently wrapped up their annual Giving Tuesday campaign this past weekend.

Giving Tuesday began in 2011 and is a movement dedicated to creating an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the holiday season. Fidelity House CRC’s Giving Tuesday campaign was the Giving Tree Campaign, which began on November 5th and was continued until Giving Tuesday on December 3rd. A last minute extended giving was offered until December 6th.

Fidelity House CRC’s Giving Tree Campaign is an online effort that centers on the very specific human needs that the Fidelity House staff members see as they go about their daily work as nurses, case managers, and social workers. For example, a case manager noticed that painting large artworks became too difficult for a man who lives in a group home, so she requested a tablet that would allow him to continue creating art through taps and clicks, rather than with a brush and paint.

With a goal of $11,900 to provide the specific gift requests for the individuals and families we serve, Fidelity House CRC successfully raised $11,513 from the online Giving Tree Campaign!

A special thank you to all who donated to the campaign to make a difference in the lives of others this holiday season!
